In the afternoon, you would be snapping pictures of the glory of Mughal gardens walking through Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. These stunning gardens are located near the banks of the Dal Lake’s picturesque waters, and the Zabarwan hills behind provides an awesome view. En route, take in the beautiful saffron fields of Pampore and visit the ancient Awantipura Ruins, a 11th century-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. When you reach Pahalgam, see the Lidder stream in all its beauty and let the serenity of the place take you over. You can choose to hire a jeep for excursions to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari (on direct hire basis) before you return to Srinagar where you will be spending an overnight stay at hotel.
