Following breakfast, proceed for a visit to Jerash, referred to as ‘The Jewel of the North.’ Discover the excellent state of preservation of this ancient Greco-Roman city and its fascinating ruins. Then go to Ajloun where you will find a castle that was constructed by Saladin to counter Crusaders’ invasions. There are great views of the Jordan Valley that one can be able to see from the fortress. Overnight in Amman.
Start your day by visiting Amman’s Citadel and Archaeological Museum and the attractions include the Temple of Hercules, the Byzantine Basilica, the Umayyad Palace, and the Roman Theater. Go to Madaba and visit the mosaic map of the Holy Land in St. George’s Church. Carry on to Mount Nebo, believed to be the burial ground of Moses with great view. Proceed to Petra for an overnight.
