On arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP, you will be greeted by our representative and then transfer to Gangtok. When you get there, it is time to register at the hotel you will be staying in. After that in the evening you may go out for sightseeing. Accommodation at the hotel at Gangtok.
After breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,210 ft.) and New Baba Mandir about 40 kms away (2.5 hrs). Tsomgo Lake which is located near Nathula Pass (entry to Nathula is permitted only when permits are available) is a frozen lake most of the times of the year and is inhabited by birds like the Brahminy ducks. Close to it is the New Baba Mandir that has religious importance. Leisure activities are also allowed in the evening though one has to be mindful of the time. Note for Nathula Pass:
After breakfast, we can proceed to visit some of the famous tourist attractions of Gangtok such as Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point, Gonjang Monastery, Bakthang Waterfalls etc. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast go for the check out from the hotel and proceed to Darjeeling. On the way you can witness the mesmerizing view of the Teesta River, mountains and forests. Upon arrival, register in the hotel. In the evening you are on your own and can visit the local markets. Accommodation in the hotel at Darjeeling for the night.
The first activity is to wake up early in the morning and go to Tiger Hill to have a view of the sunrise over Kanchenjunga. Later, proceed to Batasia Loop and one of the oldest Tibet-Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling. Back to the hotel for the breakfast and then proceed to other sight seeing places like Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Japanese Peace Pagoda, etc. Accommodation for the night at the hotel at Darjeeling.
After breakfast, proceed for check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport/NJP for your onward journey.
