DAY 1 FOZ DO IGUASSU - ARRIVAL

  • Upon arrival to Puerto Iguazú airport, at the Argentinian side of the falls, follow to a half day tour to the Argentinian falls. Visit the upper and lower walkways, which allows a different perspective and more intimate contact with the falls adjoining rainforest filled with orchids, bromeliads, birds and other wildlife, an exuberant nature with outstanding views. The highlight of the trip is a visit to the suspended platform at the very brink of the abysmal Devil’s Throat – largest of the waterfalls. Beside all this, the park offers a complete service infrastructure with shops, restaurants and handicap access. After the excursion, you´ll be transferred to your hotel at the Brazilian side crossing the Tancredo Neves Bridge with its lovely view of the Iguassu Canyon.

DAY 2 FOZ DO IGUASSU

DAY 4 SALVADOR

  • Breakfast, Half day city tour historical of Salvador. By choosing the historical tour, our focus will be in the city sites related to the colonial Brazil, and Afro-Brazilian history, taking advantage of Pelourinho being the greatest baroque neighborhood outside Europe, declared by UNESCO a world heritage site. If you're a history buff, there are lots of centuries-old buildings churches and even museums to tour. This tour gives you the chance to see a little of the new and the old city. We begin from Barra neighborhood, with the Atlantic Ocean view and Barra’s most famous icon, the lighthouse at the Saint Antonio Fort - We walk around the first lighthouse of the entire American continent. We -proceed on our pleasant ride through the traditional neighbourhoods of Corredor da Vitória, Campo Grande (big outdoor scene for Salvador’s carnival). Continuing, we stop the car at the Municipal Square and visit the Modelo Market – one of the oldest and most traditional commercial zones of the city of Salvador, with its architecture protected by the National Historical Heritage. The building holds 263 art-craft stores, so fulfil your curiosity looking around!

DAY 5 SALVADOR

DAY 6 SALVADOR / RIO DE JANEIRO

  • Breakfast, Transfer out to Salvador airport for flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel for check in.

DAY 7 RIO DE JANEIRO

  • Breakfast, You will be picked up at your hotel for a full-day tour, riding along the beaches of Rio, taking the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas until Cosme Velho district. There you will board the Swiss manufacture cogwheel train for a scenic ride through the Tijuca National Park to reach the 710–meter summit of Corcovado. At the very top of the mountain, carved in soapstone mosaic in the finest art deco style, stands the Christ the Redeemer, a 38 meters tall statue with arms outstretched as if it were blessing the city. The view from the Corcovado provides a spectacular panorama of Rio and its surrounding. You will quickly understand why Rio is called the Marvelous City. After visiting the Corcovado, you will board the wheel train down to Cosme Velho station and return to their hotel via the São Conrado beach where hang-glider riders like to lounge when they are not soaring overhead. Lunch at a local “churrascaria”. The "churrasco" is a traditional Brazilian southern (and also Argentinean) way of preparing the meats. The guests will have the opportunity of tasting an endless variety of meat served continuously, several garnish and salads. As a dessert, it will be served ice cream and after, coffee. After lunch will leave hotel towards Urca district to board the cable car for a two-stage ride that will whisk them up to Sugar Loaf. At the first stage, Morro da Urca - barely 220 mts high, there is a restaurant, an amphitheatre and a heliport for scenic rides. The second stage takes one up to the Sugar Loaf - thus named because of the loaves of sugar that were commonly used by the Portuguese at the time of the discovery of the city. From both places guests will have wonderful views of Rio’s most famous spots such as Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon beaches, also Botafogo and Flamengo leading to Downtown, the Christ the Redeemer and Rio-Niterói bridge. At any hour of the day or night, the view from Sugar Loaf is extraordinarily beautiful, making Sugar Loaf undoubtedly one of the most famous landmarks of the city. After Sugar Loaf visit tour continues to the Downtown area with a stop at Catedral Metropolitana, a huge cone-shaped construction with breathtaking stained glass windows. After this visit a brief panoramic view of downtown Rio and return to the hotel.

DAY 8 RIO DE JANEIRO

  • Breakfast, Day at leisure

DAY 9 RIO DE JANEIRO - DEPARTURE

  • Breakfast, Transfer to Rio de Janeiro Airport for your departure flight.
